Our Approach

We are a full service interior design firm led by principal designer Nichole Knight.  Services are offered individually or collectively. Our process is crafted to deliver a seamless, elevated, and highly personalized experience from concept to completion.

Design Process

1. Initial Consultation & Discovery

 

An on-site meeting (or a virtual walk-through for out-of-state clients) to understand your vision, goals, preferences, and budget. This step ensures we begin with a clear and shared direction for your project.

 

2. Concept & Design Development

 

This phase includes:

• 2D space plans with thoughtful furniture placement

• 3D renderings that allow you to virtually explore the space

• Digital mood boards illustrating how materials, colors, and textures come together cohesively

 

3. Material & Furnishings Selection

 

With a refined eye for detail, your designer curates lighting, furniture, materials, and décor that beautifully reflect your aesthetic. Leveraging exclusive trade relationships, we source high-quality pieces that align with both your style and your budget.

 

4. Collaboration With Architects & Contractors

 

In addition to interior design services, we have extensive experience working alongside architects, contractors, and subcontractors. For new builds or remodels, your designer will collaborate closely with your selected team to ensure the design vision is fully integrated and thoughtfully executed, bringing your dream home to life.

 

5. Procurement, Installation & Reveal

 

Your designer manages the purchasing, tracking, and receiving of all approved items. She will be on-site to oversee installation, ensuring every detail is executed with precision.

 

Your reveal is a special moment—an opportunity to experience your completed space, thoughtfully designed to bring comfort, beauty, and enjoyment for years to come.

Investment

Hourly Rate

Nichole Knight Interior Design bills at an hourly rate of $75 for all design services. Invoices are issued monthly for time spent to date.

 

Retainer

A 20% retainer based on projected services is required at the start of the project.

 

Travel

Travel time is billed at the standard hourly rate.

For out-of-state projects, all travel-related expenses are billed in addition to the hourly rate.

 

Communication & Site Visits

Site visits and client–designer communication are scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
